Founded in 2008 by Dale Mathis and Tom Pantzer, LHE in its short existence has become known for quality home enhancements in the Indianapolis metro area.

Tom Pantzer has extensive remodeling background, he worked his way through college and until most recently was the remodeling manager for Daymarc Homes. Tom previously was the Western Regional Manager for Custom Builders USA, a group of the top 300 custom builders and remodelers who have banded together for better pricing and service from local and national suppliers. He has also worked for local suppliers and was the Territory Manager for both Trex Decking and James Hardie Building Products. Tom is a long time resident of Indianapolis.

Dale Mathis has over 22 years of experience in the remodeling and residential construction industry. It started in the late 80's framing homes and doing interior trim for contractors who built custom homes on the north side of Indianapolis and Hamilton County. In 1992 he founded Mathis Construction Co. Projects ranged from room additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and re constructing a 150 year old log cabin in Brown County. In 1998 Dale merged his company with another established contractor John Fortson to create Fortson & Mathis Construction LLC. This company's primary focus was residential remodeling and whole house renovations.
